Hinged Steel Belt Conveyors: Proven Effective Automation

“These are not new,” says R.J. Cyr Co.’s Bill Fox, “but an update of an idea that’s been used successfully for many years.  They’re custom-engineered, and very cost-competitive.  Most often, they’re used to remove scrap from stamping presses.  Some plants operate numerous steel belts to carry scrap to a collection and distribution site where it’s retrieved by the metal recyclers.  It’s very efficient – and a great alternative to fork trucks!
