Recycling Conveyors R.J. Cyr is a leader in the design and manufacture
of recycling conveyors. In addition to hinged steel belt
conveyors, which are primarily used for handling scrap
metal, R.J. Cyr Co. manufactures a variety of other belt
conveyors suited for use as recycling conveyors.
Troughed belts, level and inclined, are effective for recycling
conveyors that are used for bulk materials. They are easily
flighted, and can be fitted with ploughs and chutes.
Applications are numerous and include sand, aggregate,
metal, wood and cardboard. They are ideal for sortation
grading and drying, and can be fix-legged, or on casters.
One of our custom recycling conveyors has handled the City
of Windsor's residential trash and recyclables on a reversing
shuttle recycling conveyor for over 25 years.
Another recycling conveyor has flex-wall belts and collects
and returns sand for thermal recovery in an aluminum
casting foundry.
One of our latest challenges was to shred and deliver
aluminum from press to transport truck in parallel with
an existing steel scrap system at Honda, Alliston, Ontario.
Ferrous scrap yards have long used our belts to sort, separate
and stack shredded materials. This recycling conveyor is
installed at Zalev Brothers, Windsor, Ontario. 
R.J. Cyr has manufactured recycling conveyors for medium
and heavy-service applications for more than four decades.
These conveyors are manufactured in any configuration
of floor, elevated or horizontal sections.
Recycling conveyors can be engineered to accommodate
multiple changes in elevation, direction, or both. R.J. Cyr
recycling conveyors use belting of various rubber grades,
as well as mesh belt or PVC.
R.J. Cyr recycling conveyors are used for reception, sorting,
and loading, and for feeding presses, furnaces, shredders and
balers. They are custom-manufactured in sizes, duty ratings
and speeds to suit the application.
